Development Consulting

The Firm offers specialized assistance in all phases of multifamily rental development utilizing the federal housing tax credit program. Services include identifying viable development sites, selecting development team members, underwriting the financial structure and applying for all funding sources, coordinating land use approvals, monitoring construction budgets and leasing. Clients have included both non-profit and for-profit developers. The Firm also has created limited liability companies that have acted as owner and developer in two projects using Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits.

Randall Place - Randall Place is a 40-unit family development in Goldsboro containing 4 one-bedroom, 20 two-bedroom and 16 three-bedroom units. The community will be built out in 8 five-unit buildings, each of which will contain single story garden units as well as two-story townhouse units. Rents will target households earning 40%, 50% and 60% of the county median income.

Eno Haven - Eno Haven is a 76-unit development in Hillsborough that will serve seniors 55 years and older. A single 3-story building will contain 44 one-bedroom and 32 two-bedroom units as well as multiple common areas for support services activities. The community will provide regular transportation services for residents to shopping and services areas in Hillsborough and Chapel Hill. Rents will target households earning 30%, 50% and 60% of the county median income.
