Ms. Robinson graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1997. She obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Harvard University in 2004. Prior to joining The Banks Law Firm, Ms. Robinson worked as policy counsel for the Center for Responsible Lending, Self-Help. Her work with the Center for Responsible Lending concentrated on abusive financial practices related to access to homeownership, including payday lending, credit card, arbitration, and mortgage issues.
In 2006, Ms. Robinson joined the Firm’s affordable housing and community economic development practice. Ms. Robinson is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the ABA Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law. Ms. Robinson currently serves on the Affordable Housing Advisory Board for Orange County, North Carolina And the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Housing Coalition.
