Sarah C. Hutchins, MBA, CP, NCCP

Ms. Hutchins graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and History. She also received her Masters of Business Administration from Meredith College in 2007. In January of 2000 Ms. Hutchins received the Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants. Prior to Ms. Hutchins joining the Firm in 2000, she was employed at another law firm in North Carolina. Ms. Hutchins brings to the firm years of experience as a collections, litigation, and bankruptcy paralegal. Ms. Hutchins is a member of the North Carolina Paralegal Association where she has served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. In addition, Ms. Hutchins is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal, a designation earned through the North Carolina State Bar.

Ms. Hutchins is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Development Consultant for the Firm. In her capacity as CFO, she manages the day to day financial and operational aspects of the Firm. As a development consultant, Ms. Hutchins has worked with many aspects of affordable housing. Ms. Hutchins assists many of the Firm’s clients with preparation of financial models and budgets for HOPE VI homeownership transactions. In addition, Ms. Hutchins continues to work on low income housing tax credit projects.
